Ref: Chapter 169 of the City's Codified Ordinances
The Commission on Aging was created to serve in an advisory capacity to Council on all matters relating to aging. It shall recommend programs for the aging citizens of the City and means of implementing such programs. The Mayor and the President of Council shall be permanent non-voting members of the Commission.

Richmond Heights became a member community in 2020. Check out the wide variety of programs and services available to adults age 60 and over. Some services are available only to the residents of the cities contracted with CPA; Lyndhurst, Highland Heights, Mayfield Heights, Mayfield Village, Richmond Heights, and South Euclid, Ohio; others are available to everyone!

The Area Agency is responsible for planning, coordinating and administering state and federal funded programs and services for older adults.
