For general customer service inquiries, call 800-362-7557. For gas emergencies, call 877-542-2630. - The City of Richmond Heights participates in two different aggregation programs for utility savings:
- For gas savings, residents are automatically included in the NOPEC (Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council) aggregation unless you opt out. Opt-out notices are sent to every eligible natural gas consumer every two years. - For electric savings, the city's most recent electric aggregation program contract expired at the end of December 2021. The city is currently reviewing proposals from electric suppliers for a new electric aggregation program contract. When a decision is made regarding the new contract, residents will be notified of the new electric supplier and given the option to join the electric aggregation program or opt out and select their own electric supplier. Residents that were in the city's electric aggregation program last year were automatically switched to First Energy as the electric supplier in January, which will continue until a new electric supplier is selected under the electric aggregation program.
